Summer Camp

Bring your child to the country to learn about horses from the ground (hoof) up. There will be riding time, instructional time, learning time and when your child leaves after a week they will know what to do to take care of horses and will have advanced in their riding skill.

Isley Quarter Horses summer Camp 2009

Dates: weeks of July 6th; July 20th; July 27th

Daily Itinerary

Arrival time: 8am - 9am

Group 1 -9am -12pm - grooming, learning about tack & cleaning tack, riding lessons
Group 2 - 9am - 12pm - stall maintenance, learn about feeding, training horses

12pm - 1pm - Lunch (pack your own lunch)
******
Group 1 - 1pm - 3pm - stall maintenance, learn about feeding, training horses
Group 2 -1pm -3pm - grooming, learning about tack & cleaning tack, riding lessons
Both Groups - 3pm - 5pm - game time (water games, lawn games, etc....)

Pick up anytime but no later than 6pm

There will be plenty of time with the horses, snack and water provided, minimum age 9 years old, maximum of 6 children per week. If you choose the week of July 20th our church, Friedens Lutheran is having their Vacation Bible School and you can have your child taken there for that also. VBS is free.
